Learn Campfire Songs on the Ukulele

Learn how to play the ukulele! The program consists of a 30-minute lesson of the fundamentals followed by a strum along of fun and easy campfire songs and concluding with a Q&A.  Participants will practice "I love the Mountains", "The Other Day I Met a Bear", and "On Top of Spaghetti."  Our instructor, Julie Stepanek, arrives with 24 ukuleles for participants to use.  You'll learn how to tune, strum, fret and read chords.  Julie will also answer any and all questions about ukuleles.  This program is recommended for tweens, teens and adults or ages 10 and up.  Please call the library at 413-527-5386 or email ewayne@cwmars.org to register as supplies are limited.
