How to Get Involved

Have you ever wondered how to get involved in the library?  Here are a few ways you can support Westhampton Public Library.

Volunteer at a spring or fall gardening day.

Volunteer on a regular basis.  Our library volunteers help by shelving library materials, creating program flyers and displays, checking in and out library materials, and assisting with collection maintenance.  We invite HRHS students fulfilling community service hours to volunteer at the library!  We ask that a parent or guardian signs a Teen Volunteer Application.  Please be sure to include your skills and special interests.  If you are interested in becoming a library volunteer, please email westhampton@cwmars.org for more information.

The Friends of the Library always welcome new members.  The Friends fundraise and help provide important services, including programming and collection support, for the library and community. The Friends also help organize the Fall Festival with the Westhampton PTO.

The Library Trustees serve three year terms and are elected by annual town meeting vote as needed.  Library Trustees work closely with the library director help shape library policies and services in response to community needs and concerns.
