Let's get ready for another safe and fun Halloween this year!  Below is what you need to know and how you can help.

Who: All children thru grade 8 are invited to participate in Trick or Treating

When: Tuesday, October 31st 2023 from 5:30pm-7:30pm (Parade to begin around 5:45pm)

Where: We will begin at the HRHS parking lot. The Westhampton Fire Department will lead the children in a parade towards the center of town where there will be designated Trick or Treat stops.

Candy Donations:

Please donate approximately 50-60 pieces of candy for each child that will be participating. Unopened bags of individually wrapped candy can be dropped off at; Westhampton Elementary School, Westhampton Public Library, and Outlook Farm. Please have all candy donated by Friday, October 27th 2023.

Interested in Helping?

Community members that have an interest in “Trunk or Treating” at the Town Hall parking lot or handing out candy at other needed locations can contact Caralyn Whipple -- (860) 608-3948 -- or Lynn Fournier -- (413) 977-6984.

For All Hampshire Regional Students looking for Community Service Hours / Halloween Participation:

The Westhampton Halloween Committee is looking for volunteers to hand out candy. Or, if you’d like to come up with a game to run and play with the Trick or Treaters that would be great as well! All hours will go towards your community service hours needed.

Of course, if you don’t need community service hours and still want to be part of the festivities, we’d love your involvement too!  Please contact Lynn Fournier at Fournier.Lynn13@gmail.com

Roads will be closed from approximately 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The affected roads include; Stage Rd, North Rd, South Rd, Burt Rd, and Tob Hill Rd.

***This is not a school sponsored event and is not peanut/tree nut free.
