Westhampton Finance Committee members are elected for alternating three-year terms. While the Finance Committee has no authority to approve or disapprove any given budget or request, they are empowered by State Law to consider any or all municipal questions (whether or not an appropriation is being requested) for the purpose of making reports or recommendations to the town. These recommendations will be in the form of a report prepared prior to the Annual Town Meeting, and given to Town Meeting members for consideration.
