When can I burn brush?
State law allows open air burning of brush piles from January 15 through May 1 each year. All brush piles must be at least 75 feet from any structures and grass, leaves, hay, stumps and construction debris of any type cannot be burned. Anyone wishing to burn brush must obtain a permit from the Fire Department prior to burning. Permits are available on Saturdays and Sundays only between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 am.
