The Town of Westhampton, acting through its Selectboard, is seeking written quotes from individuals, companies, or municipalities interested in purchasing the following surplus vehicle previously used by the Westhampton Fire Department:
One 1990 WHGM, ACL modified tanker truck
-Current mileage: 50,565
-Current hours: 615
-Cannot be used for emergency services or response.
-All lettering referencing Westhampton Fire Department must be removed.
The item may be viewed by contacting Fire Chief, Chris Norris at 413-529-7181. Photographs are posted to the Town website for viewing. Written quotes will be received by the Administrative Assistant at the
Selectboard’s office, Town Hall, 1 South Road, Westhampton, MA 01027 or by email to
firstname.lastname@example.org until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at which time they will be publicly reviewed and read aloud. The Selectboard shall award the sale to the highest qualified bidder which will be sold “As Is, Where Is”.
All written quotes must be on forms available at the Selectboard’s office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; by email at
email@example.com; or on the town’s website www.westhampton-ma.com; the Certificate of Non-Collusion must be included.
The Town of Westhampton makes no representation regarding suitability of the items for any purpose nor does the Town of Westhampton make any representation regarding any lien or legal impediment accruing to the vehicle. The awarded quote will be responsible for removal and all transportation of said surplus vehicle from their location on Town premises. The Town assumes no responsibility for the condition of the vehicle before the sale or thereafter. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to make an award in any manner consistent with the Town of Westhampton Procedures for Disposal of Surplus
Supplies, and deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
