Outlook Farm Pouring License Application 2021 APPROVED

An application was submitted by Jeffrey and Bradford Morse for Farmer Brewery and Winery Pouring Permits to be issued for use at Outlook Farm, 136 Main Road, Westhampton, MA 01027.  The application seeks to extend public hours from the below current hours to 12pm-7pm Thursdays through Sundays, "...to better coincide with operating hours of Outlook Farm Barnery & Eatery".  No other changes were requested.

UPDATE:
The Selectboard continued the public hearing on June 14 and approved the license with the following conditions:
Public hours of 3p.m.-7p.m. Fridays and 12p.m.-7p.m Saturdays and Sundays
Private functions with a prepared guest list May 1 to October 31 12p.m.-9p.m. with a maximum number of events two per month with a description of those events to the Selectboard and abutters with all parking on-site. 
All products sold shall be produced by Outlook Farm Winery/Brewery, within the boundaries of the plan of tasting area, with a copy of these conditions and plan attached to the license and on file at the town office

The Selectboard opened the hearing at 6:30 p.m. on June 7 and continued to 6:30 p.m. June 14.  Public input is welcome at the meeting or by email to Administration@westhamptonma.org

The following news posted April 27, 2017:
A Public Hearing was held under General Laws, Chapter 15A as a formal proceeding at 6:30 p.m. on June 26 for applications received by Jeffrey and Bradford Morse for Farmer Brewery and Winery Pouring Permits to be issued for use at Outlook Farm, 136 Main Road, Westhampton, MA 01027.

At their open meeting held Monday, May 1, the Selectboard reveiwed the farmer pouring license application submitted by Outlook Farm and voted to approve the license with restrictions, the application now requires the approval of the ABCC.  Licensing information, as approved:

  • Public hours November 1 through April 30, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.  Noon to 3:00 p.m. Sundays.
  • Public hours May 1 through October 31, 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.  Noon-3:00 p.m. Sundays.
  • Private hours May1 through October 31, 4:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Private functions  defined as one time functions not open to the general public, such as weddings, catered banquets, birthdays, anniversaries.
  • Boundaries as outlined on plan submitted to and approved by the ABCC include the cider room. 
  • Annual local fee of $200.00 for farmer pouring license.
