COMMUNITY-WIDE CELEBRATION of the ANNIVERSARY of the END OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR

with Singing Star RUTH HARCOVITZ, Ms. Massachusetts

The Westhampton Council on Aging and the Westhampton Cultural Council have come together and are pleased to announce the forthcoming appearance of singing star Ruth Harcovitz,  Ms. Massachusetts 2015-2016, in her program, SONGS OF WORLD WAR II, in celebration of the seventy-second anniversary of the end of the Second World War and in honor of Veterans’ Day.

The show commemorates the end of the war in May 1945, a time when the world was new, hearts were young, and life was free once again.  Ms. Harcovitz’s presentation will include favorites from the era, such as  “Accentuate the Positive” “White Cliffs of Dover,” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.”

The program will take place at the Westhampton Congregational Church, on Thursday, November 3 at 1 PM, following a 12 noon potluck luncheon. For information, call Louise Jasionkowski at (413) 527-5134. All senior citizens and veterans are all cordially invited to attend.

As Ms. Massachusetts, Ms. Harcovitz recently returned from the Atlantic City and the National Pageant where her singing electrified the audience and judges alike, winning  her a Top Ten Finalist Award.  She is in constant demand throughout the country for her beautiful voice, warm personality, and wide variety of exciting programs.

This performance is supported by a grant from the Westhampton Cultural Council, a local agency, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and the Westhampton Council on Aging.  (This full credit and its wording are mandatory in all publicity, per the Massachusetts Cultural Council.)
